Wild Kat Rides was created out of a passion for endless learning on bikes, being empowered by progression, and a desire to play wildly in nature. The mission of Wild Kat Rides is to provide a supportive instructional space where all riders can practice and build skills that enable them to have fun and be confident on their own adventures.

About Coach Kat

I love riding bikes and sharing my passion for riding with others. I’m an adventurer at heart and feel the most alive in the mountains, especially when I’ve used my bike to access hard to get to places with long descents. It truly makes me feel the most like myself, the most wild!

I have spent the past four years as a middle school teacher, helping to spark curiosity through experiential learning in the outdoors. My experience as an educator has been incredibly humbling and has fueled my desire to continue to coach mountain biking because of how rewarding it is to see others succeed, even if it means failing a bunch at first.

My job as your coach is to be your biggest cheerleader, which means encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone once you’ve built confidence through step-by-step skills practice. So let’s spice things up, transform your riding, overcome those challenging obstacles, and play wildly out on the trails together!
